I am will be taking the rest of the week off from blogging. I have been hit with a pretty bad cold that has really effectively kicked my booty. I apologize (again) for not having posts ready to go in my drafts so you would still get a post daily from me. But for right now, I need to concentrate on getting better and resting and downing fluids like crazy.

Icky! That’s the worst… but then again, runners have the upper hand when ill (or hungover, let’s be real.) A little nuun/Clif Shot recovery/gu brew always helps me stay hydrated, whether running or just nose-running. Hope you bounce back fast!
One of my co-workers was telling me about nuun! I’m going to try some coconut water and see how I fare with that, but I might try nuun next! Thanks! I’m feeling better than I was. I’d say I’m about 65% back (which yesterday felt more like 25-30%) so I’m going to concentrate on just getting back to normal!
Coconut water is kind of like nature’s nuun, ha. Sweetness-ranking wise, I find gu brew the sweetest. I like nuun a lot, as it’s like a less-sugary Gatorade and they make ‘every day non-performance’ blends, but right after a workout I LOVE cold Clif Shot Recovery lemonade. It’s not really sweet, it’s salty almost, but totally satiating.
Here’s to that percentage climbing by the day!
